"About Me" page for my 100th Post

I am not really into birthdays or anniversaries.  I like to keep things simple.  So, in honor of my 100th post, I have added a new element, which I have been hemming and hawing about, what to write for my “About Me” page… do I delve into the history of my life with food, or focus on the present and future.  I opted for the latter and I hope it gives a better picture of Eating, Gardening & Living in Bulgaria.

For those of you who read my post 2009: Eggs & Yogurt, you get a glimpse into my history with food, but let me share with you another peek. Back in 1998, my Mom sent me a 50lb (23kg) care package when I was spending the summer in Nancy, France because I couldn’t eat the food.  I desperately longed for my Pop Tarts, Lucky Charms, Pringles and Twizzlers… a very far cry from my present self, but I omitted these little tidbits from the page, as it is my intention to pepper them into future blog posts.

From now till my 200th post, I will be working to improve on my blog especially my photography, which is a necessary evil.  Thanks again to all my Feeders, Followers, Facebook-ers and Tweeters.
